The Druidcraft Tarot ~ The Very Last Straw

Yesterday, my husband and I had a bit of a disagreement when he had a hiccup in his effort to be a kind, generous and nice man rather than a grumpy, cantankerous old fart. It upset me quite a bit and even though I was trying not to think of it when I shuffled the Druidcraft Tarot – that feeling came through in the cards:

• 10 of Swords
• 10 of Wands

Pretty obvious what it means! I felt at the time, that it was the very, very last straw and I couldn’t carry any more without breaking my back and coming to an end with the whole thing. Usually Tarot isn’t quite so literal but this draw certainly was. It is interesting that both cards are 10’s – the cumulation of everything inherent in the suit.

Anyway, we had a good old discussion about it and things seem like they are on the right track again.

The Druidcraft Tarot is one of the all time classics, I think. I love the artwork and big cards. I’ve had it for ages but hadn’t used it in a long time.
