Gummy Bear Tarot ~ Happy Memories with Family and Friends

Today, I drew two cards from the Gummy Bear Tarot.  It is such a cute deck and comes in a very handy tin which makes it easy to carry around. It is also a very handy size – about the size of a standard bridge deck of playing cards. Here are the cards:

• Ten of Pentacles
• Six of Cups

What appropriate cards for today!  When I drew the cards, we had just returned from a First Birthday Party for the daughter of one of my friend’s daughters.  We had watched her grow up and now we are celebrating birthdays for her children. It made me feel very nostalgic and also very glad we are a part of their family.

Our dear friends are more like our family than friends. It is wonderful to be a part of their lives.  That feeling of being a part of a family and being included in their lives is one of the most special things.

The Ten of Pentacles is one of my favorite cards in the Tarot (the other is the 10 of Cups) – to me it speaks of that wonderful feeling of being safe and secure with family and friends; of family gatherings and that feeling of belonging.  This weekend is turning out to be very family oriented. On Friday we spent the evening with our dear friends, eating dinner and playing games.  Today we went to the birthday party and this evening we are all going to go bowling together – a very happy weekend.
