Tarot of Timeless Truth – The Hermit

Late last night, I decided to draw a card from The Tarot of Timeless Truth and see what message it had for me. Since I was so tired, I decided to go to the Tarot of the Timeless Truth web site and do the on-line “One Card Thought Of The Day Spread”. I like the way the cards drop down the screen (face down) and you just click on one.

The card I clicked on was The Hermit and the message that came with it is: “At this time you need to seek time alone in order to regenerate or to get in touch with your inner guide. Seek to balance the action or frenzy in your life with periods of quiet contemplation. You might also be seeking answers to a situation that has been bothering you. The Hermit in a reading tells you to connect with the stillness within for your answers lie there.”

What an appropriate message! Yesterday, my Mom left after a week long visit – it was fun but also very, very tiring. While she was here, I didn’t have any time to myself – didn’t even get a chance to read a newspaper. There was no time to get on the computer or do anything with the cards until she went to bed and by then I was usually too tired to even want to do anything. My Mom is extremely talkative and there is really no way to do anything except listen to her.

However, we did have a fun visit – much nicer than I thought it would be. Having a positive attitude and expecting the best really helped! We went shopping, visiting, to dinner with friends, had friends to dinner, out to lunch with friends and took day trips to nearby towns along with doing a lot of knitting and cooking. Today, my husband, myself and our dog spent the whole day resting – it felt so nice to have peace and quiet.

I like the one card spread the best. For larger spreads, I like to actually shuffle the real deck myself and go from there.
